Fishin - Finally

TN fishin never happened last week. Gorgeous water everywhere. Too much family time to get out.

Arrived here in Bossier City (daughters house) , late Sat. Sun all family time.

Out at 6:20 this morning. Too dark to see on arrival at water. 1st 2 hours had this Capt concerned. Fish all over the place but only couple nibbles. Underwater vegetation worse than in spring. Changed locations, and bite was on. Choupic, cats, panfish.

As usual big one got away. Couldn't stop the run. On 3 section bamboo pole. Front section pulled off and headed toward Arkansas. Managed to hook the speeding section with spinning rod/reel 2nd time it surfaced. Was like the barrels on the shark in "Jaws"!!!

Raw shrimp, canned corn, Fish Bites. All caught on shrimp.

Have pics. Quality unknown. Unable to post - as usual. Will work on on return to North Coast.
