I didn't watch the trout pool very long, from what I saw the fish weren't hungry. The kids seemed to be having fun anyway, looked like it was a timed fishing contest.

I watched a little of the bass tank seminar and I didn't see him have any luck either. The guy had a spinnerbait that he was throwing in the fish tank and the bass wouldn't mess with the lure at all when he reeled it straight back in. Then he was jigging it back in and the smaller bass in the tank were coming up and pecking at the spinnerbait but wouldn't grab the lure.

As for the fishing, the stripers were still at Corova this morning. There was a lot of people surf fishing on the north side of Avalon Pier, don't know if they were catching anything. I couldn't go had too much stuff to do. The weather has been nice and the ocean is kind of clear and calm.
