Triangle Wrecks and Winks Wreck are the most popular to swim to north of Oregon Inlet, you need clear water and go in the middle of the day not evening.

You can also find a lot of nice conch shells in the deeper slough inside the outer bar during the summer, the kids might swarm you when you get out.
