Rodanthe Sunday Report

Strong winds overnite as predicted. Storms over ocean most of the night.

Surf. 0530 hrs. Washing machine. 4 sand bars. Waves to 10 ft.

Early beach walk south to KOA then back to Serendipity. 8 ft. shelf cut out of beach there overnite. WSW 10 - 20.

Unable to hold bottom 0730 - 0930 hrs. 4 oz satellite not holding. Just Impossible to sit inside in spite of conditions.

0945 surfers arrive. This Capt only the one on beach. Waves big as far as eye can see, north and south. You know where they set up. No problem tho w/ fishin conditions as they were.

0955 hrs. Flies arrive. Merciless. 1005 hrs....hot shower.

Takin chance on Mad Crabber tonite.
