Well Wayne, I was actually fishing for spot and croakers that night so I was using artificial blood worms and shrimp. I actually have to admit that I was so very embarrassed. I turned as red as a ambulance emergency light. Luckily for me it was so dark Marty could not see me blushing. Marty did break the ice by saying "darn I am going to the other side" It was a very laughable night. This only happened a little over 4 years ago and off course for those who do not know, Marty and I got married in Nov. of 2007. I know that story may have been a little ronchie but it was funny and I just had to tell it, so sorry if it offended anyone. No harm meant. Also I have had some private emails wanting to know my age and I am not ashamed of it for I do feel the older we are the wiser we are so on Feb. 8th I will turn 49 years young. Yes Capt. D. I do remember the days that the only place to get gas towards the Duck area of being Winks, it was also the only place to put air back in your tires after you came off the beach. I also remember and traveled many times threw the Sandbridge area of Virginia Beach and coming threw the what is now federally protected wildlife refuge to come to the beach and many, many times I camped out at Penny's Hill. I am a beach baby, well a 49 year old, very wise beach baby. Since the weekend is a bust on fishing, I will be changing my spools of fishing line so I will be keeping a tight line, Debbie
