I can somewhat relate to your story Capt. D. For me ive been coming down for the last 11 years so i did not know the days of few houses above Duck but i sure do remember the fishing. There were years when my dad and i could catch 20 oe 30 fish in a morning up there and now we condiser ourselves lucky to do that in a day. Its a shame. I've often wished i could travel back in time to see the outer banks back about 30 to 40 years ago.
