my family are all beach nuts, sorry folks, i'm not. i love to fish but aint fond of sit and fish. you've seen my posts
no doubt asking about manns harbor. i found that place the first year my family drug me to the obx. each morning at 4am(first year) now more like 5:15am) i get up sneak out
to the truck and boat. drive from nags head to the old
ramps at manns. put in and fish till i cant stand
the heat no more. drive back, go down jump in the ocean
and play with the grandkids for an hour. go up to the house,
shower and nap till they wake me and we go out to the
red drum, jimmys, black peligan, was muligans,colington, well you all know where obx has the best foods. then we
go back and i tell a couple stories of the day. tommorrow,
repeat today. each year my fishing has been getting a little better over there in the sound. i am learning the water, bridges and bait fish. speaking of baitfish, 4 years
ago i marked my favorite baitfish spot on my new gps and by golly each year since they've been at the same SPOT.
this year i saw the back and fin of an animal by the
old bridge that literally made my jaw drop. i hope to get a chance at that BIG boy someday. this wasnt a funny, but if your reading this and you fish, you better add the obx to your list of future fishing holes. thanks to you folks that make this site posible.
