Doldrum Non - Fishing Note

Lakes and rivers still frozen on North Coast. Perfect time to view "She Wore a Yellow Ribbon" - for the umpteenth time - on cable TCM yesterday. John Ford film w/ his usual western actors, including "The Duke" (of course). Shot in Monument Valley. Just an awesome movie. Set in 1878.

Btw, Monument Valley loaded w/ radioactive fallout at time this and other movies made there. Many top name stars contracted cancer after filming action films there.

And...saw no fish caught while the troops crossed the river near end of movie. (A legal post...now).
