Hot Dog Stands

Come to think of it, I was put in charge of a hot dog stand all by myself one time and hadn't done it before. A friend of the family had a temporary stand set up at an antique car show and he wanted to go looking around so he showed me what to do and took off. The hot dogs were not grilled like those other places they were boiled, already cooked and simmering in a big pot with some water in the bottom. I just grabbed one with metal tongs, slapped it on a bun in one of those white paper hot dog holders and asked if they wanted mustard and ketchup. If they did I just went down the hot dog in a back and forth angle real fast with it was in those clear squirt bottles like you see sometimes on restaurant tables. The cash register was a metal box, the hot dogs were a dollar so it wasn't too hard to figure out. I had a steady flow of people and didn't get any complaints.
