If your talking about a break that could be from a guide or you might have a bad rod blank and if so the rod can break again, age can do it. You might want to try bending on the rod some to see if it breaks again before paying to get the rod fixed. I'm not sure who would do that kind of repair.

Here's a cheap do it yourself fix, I'd lightly coat all of the wood so it doesn't expand from moisture later on .....
