Nice of you to acknowledge us. Not many do.

Insofar as vet freebies...know there many who will...but this Capt never has, never will. Havin promised benefits taken away after the fact, SS virtually wiped out, and bein spit upon on return from Far East Theater leaves indelible mark as to what society truly feels toward those who served.

Still goes on today. Returning disabled vets, fully capable, are not hired cause it may make staff and/or customers uncomfortable. Really????????????

On the lighter side. Invited to grandsons school 11/11 for veteran acknowledgement. Asked if could bring visual aids. Told "not" to bring cigar box w/ ears.

God bless all the vets for what they sacrificed mentally and physically to provide us "The Land of the Free".
