Yes and no, just taking a guess from the extended forecast more likely puppy drum at all the inlets and the point this coming weekend. Stripers don't like muddy water, most will move out to the mud line where the water changes.

Fresh cut bait on a regular double hook bottom rig with some strong 4/0 - 6/0 j hooks like Owner snelled on heavy mono works real good for puppy drum and stripers.

The schools of stripers and big blues coming in with the birds on them will probably be another 3 weeks if it stays cold.

You might get lucky and find a school of them this weekend if your on the beach right at first light before sunrise on the north side of Oregon Inlet at Coquina Beach, walking over at Ramp 1 or the south side within sight of the rock jetty.
