Fishbites

Do Fishbites have a "shelf life"? I have several packs {bloodworm,squid,crab) that are about 3 years old. They are sealed in the original packaging but have been opened and they are slightly discolored. I hate to throw away $30 worth of bait but if they are no longer effective I don't want to waste time using them.
