Weak over 18". Blues today average 12". Croakers 10 - 12", big pins up to 10".

Capt's patented 2 hook rigs. 30lb test, 6" steel leaders. Bay sinker 1/2 or 3/8. Bare #6 bait holder hook directly on leader.

Told sound spot we're fishin home to 3 1/2 " girth cotton mouth.
Eels today ... no snake. Resident turtle a biggun. Crusin w/ 10 - 12" of shell way out of water.

Btw, artificials, incl. trout rigs not productive. Only pins hittin small lures.

Bite doesn't taper off as mornings go on. Heavy hittin. Limited AM fishin time as son has to get back to kids by 1000 hrs. daily.
