The fuel line in NC is drawn about the middle of the state between Greensboro and Raleigh. The eastern section of NC gets much of their fuel from ocean tankers whereas the western section of NC gets fuel from the pipeline out of Texas and Louisiana. When the pipelines shut down due to Ike and Gustav the flow of gas to Western NC slowed down. I live in the western part and just the other day waited in a gas line for 40 minutes to get 16 gallons of gas. Most stations still do not have any gas. I went to see family in the eastern section this weekend and didn't have any problem once you get to the other side of Greensboro. I'm coming to the OB this weekend to do some fishing. Can't wait...
