September surf fishing question

Hi all,
Coming down to kill devil hills in late sept 08. Could use some advice on surf fishing the area, whats running, where to go, what to use. I live in jersey and am unfamiliar with fishing the outer banks. Any and all advice will be app. Thanks in advance and glad the storm was not to bad for you all. Tony
