Weekend pier report 9/11/08

Well first of all, today is a day of very bad memories of 09/11/01. Today we remember those who's lives were affected and some of us who's lives are still in ache over that tragic day. For the pier reports for this week: There has been a good run of Blues with lots of bait fish around the piers. There was a report of a puppy drum 8lbs caught yesterday off of one of the piers. The piers all reported good fishing this week with spot, croaker and sea mullets, but this is not the fall run as of yet hopefully soon we will be seeing the start of those runs. Happy fishing and enjoy the Outer Banks of North Carolina. PEACE to all. Deb
