Commercial pier. (On Commercial Rd.) Ft. Lauderdale.

0700 hrs. Gorgeous morning. Wind NNW. No choice for later in week as rain in forecast rest of week. Parking + fee + bait = $33. Makes (1) 7" pomp an expensive fish.

Good news....plenty of bait leftover for a week.

Filefish and parrots plentiful. Apprx. 25 anglers on pier. Caught (4) pomps in 4 hours.

Licked wounds, SSS, then lunch in Las Olas restaurant. Exercised language w/ waitress. Food, service, atmosphere outstanding as always.
**** 1/2 stars.

Mrs. Capt happy to walk off some of the food in nautical store and "Total Wine".
