Spring This Week

The snow line was north of Norfolk and Virginia Beach this time, that should be the end of it now. It's been rainy and the ocean was real rough yesterday, huge waves breaking way out and overwash coming under the houses in Kitty Hawk at high tide. No flooding just sand on the road in spots, one area of it to the north was like a sand road. Over on the other side the water was blown out away from the shore in the sound and that was kind of foggy.

Anyway looks like Avalon Pier has been getting the pier ready to open, should be on their piercam when they do.

Awful Arthurs opened across the street from them about a week ago and Goombays further south on the beach road.
