Weekend report 8/29/08

Thursday and thus far this morning have been pretty miserable days in terms of weather. Its been on and off rainy, gusty and rough surf. As to the fishing the best action reported was off the Little Manteo Bridge with Puppy Drum being caught and one 18 inch spec. If your like me, I prefer this nasty weather do do bottom fishing but be prepared to use extra bottom weights and if you can get into a school of fish its some good fun. As to the boat reports there have been good catches of yellow fin dolphins caught and various other types. Well that's all for now, fish ahoy and maybe King has some better reports for the Kitty Hawk and Kill Devil Hills area. Enjoy the Outer Banks and Please help us keep it beautiful. Pick up your trash and if you see trash laying about especially on our beaches please pick that up and dispose of it and maybe others whom might see you doing this will "Pass it on" and do the same.
