Here's what's been happening in Hatteras Jan.26 thru Feb.1
Still grinding it out commercial fishing with my son Patrick on his boat "LITTLE CLAM" out of ODEN'S DOCK .
This week was brutal weather wise with us fishing some mighty cold windy days...WOW....ice and snow on deck.
This week was a few Seamullets ,Atlantic Sharpnose Sharks,False Albacore and a few King Mackeral.
Still have beautiful blended 65 to 69 degree water 12 miles off the beach.
Surf fishing guys have done well on the slot sized red drum after the snow storm!!! Amazing
I caught a nice Red Drum on 1/31 dropping cut bait in a huge Menhaden mark with Gannets flying all over and on 2/1 we caught another Cobia in a Shark net.
Lots of 70 to 200 pound sharks around as well
Amazing the amount of life around this time of year.
Anyway we will start working on the "FREE AGENT" in March getting it ready for the charter season starting in April.
