Doldrums

Obvious by lack of posts, its officially arrived.... the winter doldrums.

And...no one has stuff to share to fill the void re: fishin, eatin, access, "visitor" stories etc??

Few observations may start some posts:

HI will never be the same if "s" curve bridges built into north Rodanthe,

US Post Office has set new low...1st class mail from North Coast to Avon. Mailed Sun 1/5 ...still not there.

# of fisherman, and fish taken, from Rodanthe south to Waves early summer has dropped markedly. Wannabe surfers now biggest challenge to the early morning catch.

NOAA fisheries continues to fund this Capt w/ big $$. Strugglin again to put it to use:):)
