I fish the northern banks, specifically jennettes, 200 days a year on average. The year of the work was brutal and last year was a bit better.this year has been a very good year and predictions of the flea colonies not recovering were false.as for comparing before and after I don't believe that would take into account all the variables, last year the pups were plentiful but small and the trout were not happening till after Sandy (another variable).last year we saw more kings than this year but kings have been good elsewhere that were not good in years past.the sand work HAS changed the beach but from a tourist and money stand point I think nags head got their money's worth
