Back on the Island

I made it back to Rodanthe/Salvo/Waves Beaches yesterday and it's been an amazing 24 hours! After Secretly attaching a tracking GPS Devise to Capt. D Two years ago I made my way to one of his secret fishing spots between the Pier and the Wreck! HaHa! But Seriously it was the best 24 hours of fishing i've ever had in the OBX. We caught Spot, Mullet, Dozens of Taylor Blues, a half dozen Puffers with 4 over 12", 8 flounder with 5 being legal size and one topping out at 19", a Spotted Trout, a hand full of Black Drum, a small Skate, a Ray about 4' from Tip to Tip and I caught my first ever Surf Red Drum measuring 24" and weighing 5lbs. A Totally Fabulous Day!!
