Took a couple of seconds to understand what 180iquers meant:):)Here in old folks community thats not so much the case. They all just say they're not "handy".

Perhaps better to say they are book smart and street dumb. (And...have doubts about even the book smart, w/ some of the stuff that comes out of their mouths.)

At least when sons and son-in-laws need something done they watch and help and learn.

This Capt learned to be jack of all trades from dad who taught himself to do things as there was no $$ to hire work out. Dad taught rudiments of fishin too.( = legal post).
