A warning for you, it's about time for them again. Have you seen this guy below?

Here comes trouble two loose rottweilers on the beach. This happened the morning of September 5th last year at Helga Street in Kill Devil Hills. I was trying to get the clouds over Avalon Pier and noticed them headed my way. I figured I'd take some pictures of the dogs just in case I got bit.....

Town of Kill Devil Hills - Between May 15 and September 15 of each year, no dogs shall be permitted on the public beach between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. unless being used to aid a handicapped person. At all other times, no dogs shall be permitted on the public beaches except upon a leash and under the control of owner or handler.

Nobody between me and them and they had to come make a u-turn around me standing on the beach, (being aggravating). I was trying to get the clouds over Avalon Pier.

This is when I decided to zoom in and take a couple of pictures just in case I got bit. Notice both rottweilers running loose, one leash is in the guy's hand and the other around his neck not on the dogs. The white thing the woman has in her hand is a Duncan Donuts coffee cup, where did that go?

It made me a little shaky.

In the next picture below notice the guy thought one needed to be on a leash so why was the dog loose at all before? You can see footprints where the other rottweiler was around me. He called the dog back to him when I pointed the camera at them.

They went south to the north side of Avalon Pier in the morning with the loose dogs after that day. I have not seen them since then so they are probably weekly renters.

Anyway here's something better if your interested it's the sunrise that morning.

The birds were after something further out.

I was zooming in with the camera getting different waves with the sunrise.

Zooming out with some pelicans going by in the distance.

I had surfers beside me and was stuck with the dog prints.

I zoomed in on the end of Avalon Pier from Helga Street over 3/4s a mile away with a Canon PowerShot SX40 HS and looks like they are jigging for bluefish out there. I think the black thing in the water is a surfer in a wetsuit.

This is a good picture below, it was a few days later of a sunrise behind a huge thunderstorm cloud that was raining over the ocean.

Same picture with different waves and three pelicans.

The left side of that anvil moved over me going by fast while I was walking to the beach and was really tall taking up the entire sky.
