Hi all. My girlfriend and i will be visiting the outer banks for about a week. she is from the area, i am not. we have a beach house and i was hoping to fish from shore there in front of our place. im trying to piece together the proper tackle but am somewhat new to surf fishing. if anyone can provide me a basic list of items i will need to be self sufficient, id greatly appreciate it. i of course plan to stop into one of the piers on the way in to pick up some bait and tackle but i wanted to get some of the basics ahead of time, eg, line, bucket, rod, reel, etc. thanks you!
