Got some really cold weather this week. Looks like some fireworks this year, I remember they shot them off the end of Kitty Hawk Pier once before.

It was below freezing that night and I walked over was just me and a commercial fisherman out there, my beer started to freeze was a good memory.

And don't drink and drive here I'm sure Kill Devil Hills will have extra and be pull one over and on to the next one might get by them on Bay Drive. 🍺

New Year's Day Black-Eyed Peas And Stewed Tomatoes

1 can of black-eyed peas
1 can of stewed tomatoes "with juice"
4 heaping tbsp of brown sugar or to taste
1 tbsp of dried chopped onion
salt and pepper to taste

Mix together in a small pot and heat on the stove.
