A Daiawa SL30SH is my best caster, and what a lot of guys use. Make the leader on your fish finder as short as you can, use crimps if you have to to get it to about an inch. Helicoptering is the worst thing I know of to cause professional over run, besides a big live bait flopping during a cast. If you're using 8+ ounces, adjust the free spool until the spool stops moving when the weight is on the ground, plus maybe a little tighter until you get the feel of it.
